Cake International 2014 in London – It’s time for Some Fondant Fun!

Cake International Theatre

Also, find your top cake authors in the Author’s Kitchen who will share tips and inspiration from the bestselling books. This is your chance to watch the experts in action and later try your hands at baking.


A Chocolate Experience
Are you a chocoholic? Good news for you! There is The Chocolate Experience at this year’s show. Discover the different types and grades of chocolates and learn making chocolates as a novice. Marbled, moulded, speckled, and stippled, once you know the difference, you can begin making and decorating your own chocolates. All you need to do is be a part of this experience at Cake International.
A Taste of Sugar Mini-Workshops
Don’t worry if you are a beginner in sugar crafting. These mini-workshops are for you. Juniors and newcomers can all learn the art of cake crafting and enjoy an on-hand experience too. From sugar flower skills to modelling, you’ll get the opportunity to try your hands at a lot of cake and bake skills. Inspired Creations (Surrey School of Sugarcraft) will run all the workshops.

Demonstration Theatres
Along with all this, there will be two demonstrations too where Clare Bowman will display her double-layered cake lace and Paul Bradford will showcase his Chocolate wrap. Besides, Ann Pickard will showcase her 3D modelling as well.
Competition Classes
Are you an expert cake crafter? The Cake Competition brings together 700 competitors under one roof to compete for coveted awards. The jury led by Brian Taylor awards the best and leaves the rest. The prestigious competition has produced many professional cake decorators and business owners as well.
