Gear up for two months of concerts as BBC Proms is all set to offer host of performances by a diverse range of artists. The last night performances are something to look up to. This year marks the anniversary of the First World Was with an emphasis on the works of wartime composers. The highlights include War Horse prom, the special life-d puppet show.
Another show-stealing performance would be the complete operas and concerts of Richard Strauss, marking the 150th year of his birth. While the classical makes return, BBC Proms continues the efforts of promoting the budding talent. For the first time ever, Paloma Faith and Rufus Wainwright will grace the stage. The Pet Shop Boys will also rock the stage with their new piece, A Man from the Future based on the work of Alan Turing.

One of London’s favourite summer music
festivals is set to make the crowd go crazy with host of performances in the
Victoria Park spread across 40 acres. Bringing two days of cirque, cabaret, and
music concerts on stage, the festival promises to be bigger than ever. The
festival was founded by the dance star, Groove Armada.
The 2014 urban celebration of musical culture will see Chase and Status, Nas, and the queen of Rap, M.I.A. as headliners. Other acts confirmed include Annie Mac, Crystal Fighters, Duke Dumont, David Rodigan, Huxley, Joy Orbison, Knytro, Moderat, Ralph Lawson, Paul Woolford, Sub Focus, Tom Edgar, The Martinez Brothers, Mount Kimbe, Shy FX & Stamina MC, The Reflex, Guy Williams, and more.
Victoria Park will also stage the Burning Man cap DISTRIKT. Also, Bearded Kitten, known for throwing fierce parties in the dessert is set to create an extraordinary partying experience. Here comes our favourite in the music festival calendar! Wireless Festival 2014 is making its debut at Finsbury Park in London. Drake and Kenye West are making a welcome return to the show bringing their only live appearance for this year in UK. Jack Johnson has announced a summer show in London at Eventim Apollo on 20th of July. He is playing to support his sixth studio album, From Here to Now to You. The album topped the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart and was among the top ten in the UK chart. Californian singer Matt Costa will also support the show. The show is part of the busy world tour of Jack and his band that includes stops in Australia, Europe, and South America.
John Jackson’s tour is continuing its green initiatives in the form of actions including using sustainable biodiesel for vehicles, sourcing food from local farms, and engaging fans to eliminate the usage of plastic.

The world-famous rapper, Eminem will play at Wembley Stadium in July. The Slim Shady announced this on Instagram taking a poke at Hyde Park concerts happening during that time.
Now you must be thinking what’s all this about Hyde Park. Eminem seems to refer to the Barclaycard British Summer Time series of concerts at Hyde Park which include Backstreet Boys, Crazy Horse, Th Libertines, and more. Eminem earlier told BBC 1 DJ that he was hoping to play at Hyde Park but wasn’t approved for the concert. The Hyde Park event doesn’t have anything lined up for 12th of July, hence, Eminem’s comment on Instagram. This would be the first main act of Eminem in London after 12 years. Earlier he performed at Docklands Arena which has since been smashed.
Support acts are yet not confirmed butt tickets are already out for sale. Wembley is the re-established stadium on the site of the original Wemblet Stadium where many big names have performed including Michael Jackson and Spice Girls.
